The Naughty Little Rabbit
Once there was a naughty little rabbit named Bunny. He loved to play tricks on his friends and make them laugh. One sunny day, he saw a group of ducks walking in a line towards the pond.
Bunny had a clever idea. He hid behind a bush and waited for the ducks to come close. When they were just a few steps away, he jumped out and shouted, “Quack! Quack! Quack!” The ducks were so surprised that they stopped in their tracks and looked around.
Seeing their confusion, Bunny started to laugh and ran away, laughing, “You’re not ducks! You’re rabbits! Quack, quack is for ducks!”
The ducks were very angry and decided to catch the naughty rabbit. They followed him as he ran and jumped through the fields, but they couldn’t catch him.
As the sun set, the ducks were tired and decided to go home. They were still angry with the naughty rabbit, but they knew they couldn’t do anything about it for now.
The next day, Bunny saw the ducks walking in a line again. He thought, “I’ll show them! I’ll make them laugh again.”
So he hid behind a tree and waited for the ducks to come close. When they were just a few steps away, he jumped out and shouted, “Quack! Quack! Quack!”
The ducks were so surprised that they stopped in their tracks and looked around. But this time, they didn’t laugh. Instead, they surrounded the rabbit and said, “You’re not ducks! You’re a naughty rabbit! We’re not laughing at you!”
The ducks were so angry that they started to chase the rabbit. This time, they caught him and carried him to their home.
When the rabbit’s mother saw her son being carried by the ducks, she asked, “What have you done, my son? Why are the ducks so angry with you?”
Bunny told his mother what he had done and she said, “You should never play tricks on your friends. They will get angry and they won’t be your friends anymore.”
Bunny was very sorry and promised to never play any more tricks on his friends. He went to the ducks and said, “I’m sorry. I won’t do it again. Please forgive me.”
The ducks forgave him and they became good friends again. They played and laughed together every day.
From then on, Bunny learned an important lesson – never play tricks on your friends, because they will get angry and they won’t be your friends anymore.
